SASSA Operating Hours
SASSA branches are usually open from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Monday to Friday and close between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday (opening and closing times vary from branch to branch). In addition to being closed on weekends and holidays, SASSA branches are only open during the week.
You are strongly advised to arrive early in the morning (before the office opens) to ensure you will be seen by a SASSA officer that day due to the likely long queues at SASSA branches. During your wait, make sure you have some water, snacks, and a small fold-up chair, if you have one. also, read sassa reapplication
It is possible for you to have a family member or friend apply or visit the SASSA office on your behalf if you are too sick, old, or disabled to do so yourself.
